The Hotel
Piccolo Hotel Luisa, or PHL, is part of Ponza's history.During Fascism, when Ponza was a borderland, President Sandro Pertini was a guest in what is now the Pertini Room, furnished with period furniture and with the characteristic domed roof of the old Ponza houses.
The name Luisa is that of the Founder, as the owner liked to call herself, entertaining her guests with anecdotes and samples of her cuisine, proud to the hilt of the results achieved with hard work and the invaluable help of her son Domenico, who since childhood has dedicated himself to the construction and improvements of the buildings original layout, a simple farmhouse that has now become a small jewel of Mediterranean architecture.
